Angus and his family are supporters of many charites which are close to their hearts including Cancer Research, Prostate Cancer, Smile Train, Action Aid, Hampshire & IOW Air Ambulance.
However, the most important to raise awareness of mental health and suicide prevention. Angus tragically lost his brother Andy to suicide which had a devastating effect of the family and Andy’s friends and collesagues. Both in the workplace and out of work Angus is working and supporting others to reduce the stigma and taboo around mental health. It’s shocking to realise that the leading cause of death for men under the age of 50 and women under the age of 35 is suicide, we all need to do more to prevent further tragic loss of life.
